3D Printers Made in Pakistan: QALAM, Markhor3D and Xplorer 3D (2026 Guide)
· 4 min read

Short answer: three Pakistani companies have put their own 3D printers on the market. 3DISM designs and builds the QALAM Pro 300 and Pro 400 in Kot Addu, Punjab: fully enclosed, 500 mm/s CoreXY machines with 300 mm and 400 mm build volumes. Markhor3D, based in Lahore, makes compact printers for schools and STEM education. Xplorer 3D launched Pakistan's first local 3D printer brand in 2014; at the time its printers were manufactured in China and assembled in Pakistan.
This guide is published by 3DISM, the maker of QALAM. For the other makers we have kept to published facts and linked the sources at the end.

QALAM Pro 300 and Pro 400 by 3DISM
QALAM (قلم, "pen") is 3DISM's own range of 3D printers. Both models share one platform: a rigid CoreXY motion system running at up to 500 mm/s with 11,000 mm/s² acceleration, a 350 °C all-metal hotend, a heated bed up to 125 °C, automatic bed leveling and a fully enclosed chamber. They run 3DISM's own fork of Klipper on a full-HD touchscreen and print PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, polycarbonate, nylon and carbon- or glass-fibre composites.
- QALAM Pro 300: 300 × 300 × 300 mm build volume, ₨ 275,000.
- QALAM Pro 400: 400 × 400 × 400 mm build volume (64 litres), ₨ 375,000.
Prices are as of October 2026. Every machine is assembled and calibrated at the 3DISM workshop on G.T. Road, Kot Addu, ships to any city in Pakistan and comes with a local warranty, with spare parts stocked locally. Prints can be watched and controlled from any browser with 3DISM Remote, free for life.
Why buy a 3D printer made in Pakistan?
- Service at home. Warranty repairs and spare parts are handled locally, so a broken part does not mean waiting for an import.
- Support from the people who built it. You talk to the makers directly, on WhatsApp, in Urdu or English.
- Calibrated before it ships. A locally built machine arrives tuned and tested by the team that will support it.
Imported printers from Bambu Lab, Creality and others are excellent machines, and 3DISM sells them too. The difference with a local machine is who stands behind it after the sale.
Which one should you choose?
- For a classroom or a first printer for PLA: a compact STEM printer such as Markhor3D's Enabler Pro.
- For fast, enclosed printing of ABS, nylon or carbon-fibre parts: the QALAM Pro 300.
- For large single-piece parts, helmets, enclosures or production batches: the QALAM Pro 400.
- For a popular imported machine: see the 3D printers in our shop.
